As the nation’s oldest city, historic St. Augustine is a beautiful place to elope. With so much history, gorgeous buildings and structures, and water-front views, we think it’s one of the best places to escape with your significant other to elope.
My husband and I have lived in the area our entire lives and can help recommend spots. In fact, we are listing out several of our favorite spots below. We are full-time wedding photographers, and my husband is ordained to be able to officiate, so we have created all-inclusive elopement packages for you as well!
Some our favorite elopement spots in St. Augustine:
1. The Lightner Museum (venue fee varies on size of event- contact the wedding authority)
2. The Fountain of Youth (venue fee varies on size of event- contact the fountain of youth)
3. The Beach (a permit is required which costs around $100- registration form can be found on St. Johns County government’s website)
4. Washington Oaks Gardens State Park (a permit is required which costs around $100- registration form can be found on the park’s website) *this one technically isn’t in St. Augustine- it’s just south of it, but it’s stunning and worth a few extra minutes of drive time. It has a park side and a beachside.
